Nebraska thought they had their man (Houston Nutt - 
) but he left their private jet sitting on the runway and decided to stay at Arkansas. Nebraska's AD was forced to find a "big name" hire to pacify the fan base and settled on Bill Callahan. who was coming off a Super Bowl appearance with the Raiders. Nebraska has been on a steady decline ever since.

LSU can put a full court press on Aranda and likely get him. Rhule is still an outside possibility. Even Napier would be a better hire than Callahan was.
Fact is, we just don't know anything about this search or who has already been/not been contacted.
The day to day mood swings have been fun though, and it's now without doubt that ALL of our board "insiders" don't know any more than the cashier down at Publix.
