The ones who have a seat at the table. Its funny how everything is hear say, i know someone or my secret sauce tells me, but nothing ever seems to be correct.

I've said this before - with the amount of people that are on here...to think nobody has any connections...is laughable.
Now, is it the people that say they do - maybe.
But for many to say that nobody here knows shite...well...that's just not true.

I sometimes suspect that the narratives on this board are being orchestrated by the site owners to "drive engagement."

No one is going to out themselves. Some of us know some guys that are in the mix but they only see part of the whole picture. If I named who I talked to I think there would be surprise that he doesn't more than he actually does

Even well-connected people don't always know. I know a couple prominent boosters and TAF members and they were telling me Saban was going to be the next coach. He WAS offered the job, but nobody can tell what the coaches will decide to do.

Theres obviously a few trolls and tryhards, but Louisiana only has 4 million people, less than the population of Houston. The number of people actively engaged with LSU makes that number even smaller.
I'd say most of us are 6 degrees removed from some flavor of sauce.
This shite just has so many twists and turns in the modern coaching carousel game that there really isn't some golden sauce anymore that truly has the correct info up to the latest second.

The real question is why does anyone care? If some guy wants to cosplay as an insider, what does that matter? Sure you can occasionally get some scoop but this is for entertainment purposes.
It makes me worried about people when I see threads like “another day being let down by fake sources.”
People post shite that will either end up being true or false and there’s no reason to put faith in any of it until the dust is settled. Just enjoy people being funny dumbasses around here in the meantime

There are insiders here. Just by numbers, it’d be impossible to not have any. Problem is, in a situation like this, it’s more than likely that nobody at lsu really knows where they stand. They might think they do, but the reality is that words mean nothing and any verbal understanding or agreements are meaningless as soon as a better one is offered. Bottom line, if lsu doesn’t have Kiffins signature on a contract, then they don’t really know where they stand. Jimmy Sextons job is to make them feel good about their chances. It gets people talking, which drives the price up for the other seats at the table.

There are more than likely four or five - maybe more. But not a single one of those who actually have the inside track on this thing are going to say a damned word about it on a message board, nor to anyone whom they think may leak anything pertinent to this message board.
