You don’t get more than a year to build your system.

O better hope he doesn’t lose more than 2 games next year or he’s done.

O will get two more years i think. Even if next season is horrible i believe they give him one more year to "right the ship". Not what i want, but what i think is realistically going to happen.

Crowton and Cameron had their best seasons in year one.

The problem is, the guy most people are hoping steps up, just spent his first season taking reps in that particular offense. Which most likely will be completely diff this season.

Just doesn't seem like a well thought out plan to get over the main issue that plagued Les. QB development.

Now maybe one of the QBs really takes to the next guy, but feels like another wasted season with growing pains on offense is coming.

You make an excellent point!

In year one you saw Crowton and Cameron running the offense. After that, Les meddled. He went through coordinator after coordinator, but the offense always looked the same. Wonder why?

Orgeron didn’t even wait til the middle of the first year to meddle in his OC’s Offense.

I think O saw this as an opportunity. Les fired OC after OC before people finally figured out he was the problem.

I think O is trying the same thing (scapegoating OCs to buy himself more time), but he won’t get away with it.

Brennan is a smart kid. He should be able to pick up a new offense over the spring. There should be no "well it's a new OC/system this year so we give O a break." O made his bed. If the offense doesn't deliver next year that's all on him and his ability to make a decent hire.

Yep. Spot on.

Bama has years of discipline ingrained into their program. We don’t. I was not shocked to see our guys not be able to adapt quickly. Our playbook was so small under miles.

Not long ago, Alabama had 3 OCs in 3 months. While Coach O is not Saban, changing OCs happens a lot in college football. Only here does it create such a melt.

Because he has a monster defense coming back and he's one of the highest paid coordinators in the nation that could be it.
