are Nick Saban and Urban Meyer. Jimbo would be close, but Herman was a huge risk at that price. O is the safe move. LSU pays half the money, has more to spend on staff and likely has next to no buyout if a change is made in the near future. Coach O was the safest move.

PS. Sorry about the s on Meyers, so all you spelling freaks can calm down. Agree on Hardbough.

At a bare minimum you need Harbaugh there.

If you have a vision, and you think the coach can take you to the National Championship then he's worth it. Most people with half a brain think Herman is an up and coming superstar. Thus, he is worth the money.

Why do you retards think jimbo, Herman, and Orgeron were the only 3 coaches available in the country?

If you couldn't get the home run hire, fine. Spend half the money and get a second tier guy. We went straight to the 5th tier with Orgeron. Completely unacceptable

I didn't know that you were personally paying the coach.

Herman was worth it.

you pay O 3.5 but have to pay 2 mil to the OC and have to bump Aranda high enough to keep him from heading out.

In the end, you don't save the money.
