In a couple games I can see his teams are well positioned a well coached. It's refreshing to see them fluid on the field.

The blowout loss to a mediocre Texas team was particularly impressive.

Why wouldn’t he be? LSU coaches have never been handcuffed.

You had a coach that just won a championship less than 2 years ago and y'all throwing him out the door. Really shows how much you guys appreciate coaches. Thats a bad look.

Fickell is Plan A.

Aranda is Plan B.

Napier is Plan C.

He is absolutely my first choice. Think he is an outstanding coach.

Have a friend who was a student manager when Napier was at Clemson. He said Napier was extremely bright and great at relating to college kids. Didn’t know it but friend told me that Napier is a son of a legendary HS football coach. So he has grown up around coaching.

Hire this man!!!!

O will be available if billy leaves. I’m sure you’d love to have him. I mean it was such a tragedy he was fired, right?

He'd be a good DC for Billy's staff next season at Louisiana

I believe Napier would be a great pick, and most of the people angry about it are angry out of pride more than his resume.

But this...

quote:

Ryan Day, Lincoln Riley, and Kirby Smart changed that for good.

...is misleading, at best. Kirby Smart was Alabama's DC for 8 years before being hired at Georgia. Ryan Day was OSU's OC for 2 years before being hired at OSU. Riley was OU's OC for 2 years before being hired at OU.

Napier's job prior to ULL was Arizona State's OC for one year, and before that, he hadn't been a coordinator since 2010.

Wouldn’t bother me at all. He seems like a well organized disciplined young coach. Saban hired him multiple times. He worked under Dabo. He was a successful OC at Arizona St and then came to ULL to be the guy. To be honest no one out there excites me and I will support whoever long enough to see if it works. He could be great he could not work. No one knows for sure. Would not be dissatisfied or disappointed by him even if he isn’t the big flashy name. He is obviously a good coach with potential to be really good or great. Is he ready to make that jump now? Don’t know. Obviously he is gonna ride it out there and continue to succeed until the right opportunity comes available for him which I respect tremendously

You have any sauces or this just your gut feeling? I hope Napier is the choice but just curious if you’re just talking out of your arse or not?
I’ve listened to Napier talk several times. I’m not the type to just be sold on anything but I think if he gets an interview and consideration from Woodward, it’ll be hard for him not to get the job. Everything he does is on a schedule. He prepares well and has a plan for everything. Will he make mistakes? Of course, but so does Saban and Napier corrects his mistakes just like Saban does. He’s the type of coach that is never satisfied and always sees room for improvement which is also something saban does. I’m starting to think if we don’t get him, he will haunt us somewhere else for years to come

Listen to him talk. He sounds exactly like Saban.

Oh No. so Mike Bianca walks and sounds just like Bertman so that means he has won 5 in 10 years. No.

People on here don’t know shite and this dud isn’t getting hired. Doug Pederson played college football in Louisiana, wanted to come to LSU as a high schooler, coached in LA High School and won a fricking Super Bowl with a shitty QB. How is Nappy qualified over him?

Not true. Orgeron was contractually forced to keep coaches and was hired on the basis of getting Kiffin or allowing the AD to hire the best OC possible.

All false just like your OP on account of you’re a stupid frick
