Jimbo makes sense with no buyout, 6th year at A&M, hired by Woodward 6 years ago. Texas moving to SEC probably makes recruiting at A&M a little harder. With no family life to keep him there, he may be ready for a change/move.

As I've said before, the best thing about the search this year is the depth of quality candidates. I'm pretty sure I won't be melting regardless, so I'll kick back and enjoy the show.

Almost 100% this is bullshite but if it does end up being Jimbo I have no issue with it. I have always liked Jimbo but some ppl just don't like him for some reason.

Retaining coaches will be HC decision unless all the assistants have new contracts (hint they don’t). Also no athletic department employee is going to say anything to anyone right now and risk their job.
