Clear path to the national championship. Lane won’t make one at Ole Miss. Players aren’t high enough talented recruits. Not to mention Ole Miss has had a really easy SOS. They play 1 of the top 6 SEC teams and lost to them. Can’t see Ole Miss going to a Nati.

Georgia is a top playoff seed. UM went toe to toe with them.
Oklahoma is in the playoffs if they started today. Whipped them.
LSU has much better talent. Whipped them.
I don't think UM is a national contender this year. But for them to be in the conversation tells you how good Kiffin is. He will clearly bolt at some point, but I'm less than 50/50 that its this year.

bottom line is he would have to be an idiot not to entertain or at least act like he is entertaining the offers.

even if he doesnt care about getting more pay for himself....if he wants OM to spend more in NIL, more on overall coaching salaries, facility upgrades etc.....this is how you go about it.

The timing for us is not the issue. The timing with Lane. In 2021 it made sense for Lane. In 2025 it makes sense for LSU but it doesn't make sense for Lane.

He’s got the same PATH as every other top 10 team right now, keep winning and you’re in.
The point is this thread is about Kiffin. It’s what Kiffin should be doing with this season.
He has a chance to be an NC and his focus needs to be on nothing but bringing his team to an NC if he’s got the ability to do it.
