Dude what’s your beef with Callaway? You’re acting like a child attacking a guy you don’t even know? I’m not sure what your agenda is here but back off. You should feel so fortunate being able to sit behind a screen and pretend to be such a big tough guy ..... the fact people have been inquiring about him speaks to the fact that he has a resume and a reputation to back up his coaching and that some of the fans did their research. For you to discount that and make a mockery out of it is totally immature .....

Yikes? I addressed to anyone who cared to read that I joined because I am a tiger fan who met Russ a while back when I was living in birmingham ... went to a Samford game, met the guy and started following his career and keeping up with him from there. I live in Baton Rouge and joined when I saw he accepted a position here. I’m definitely on board the Russ coaching train .... great guy, great coach, and excited about his career trending upward. Something wrong with posting opinions about someone I actually know rather than making assumptions about someone I’ve never met? I don’t post about other coaches because I don’t know them.

I mean, when you look at most O hires, Corey Raymond checks off multiple boxes that usually have to be checked to satisfy O.
He’s one of us, former LSU player, loyal to the Purple and Gold, would fill minority hire quotas, he’s from south Louisiana, New Iberia in fact, Cajun country, most likely loves gumbo, with rice and knows to eat potato salad with it.
He can pronounce and eat etoufee. He knows how to pass a good time, him, no, aaa eee!
He’s worked with O, he’s a good recroooter, he obviously can get along with O or he would done be gone yea, cher. He knows south Louisiana parents and kids and he isn’t looking to move, or he would done be gone again.
He may or may not be the best defensive coach but he can’t be any worse than Pellini was, pay the man, give him the title, go eat some crawfish and boudin and let’s Geaux.
