No one wanted him. Literally. You're celebrating it. Sad.

If Trump was president prior and bankrupted America, nuked Indiana, and befriended Jared from Subway you would have a point

The head of any organization accepts the lions share of the blame if their organization fails to perform adequately. CFB is no different, it is his responsibility to make sure the players execute.

I don't think you can read. I'd say TD is about 50/50. You melting covers your vision

OP is on the money. Morons voted for Trump and rooted for O.

Hopefully they both succeed. So far, nothing has shown that either is capable.

Your premise is flawed. There was NEVER a requirement that our Coach be from Louisiana or have an accent. This is a logical fallacy. In actuality, Coach O's heritage is a HUGE negative for him with the LSU fanbase. To say he was chosen BECAUSE he's local is intellectually dishonest. We put this issue to bed when Cholly Mac was retired and replaced with a Midwesterner. It's well known and accepted that LSU would prefer a guy from elsewhere, as this hysteria proves.

Once Herman and Jimbo effectively passed, keeping this coaching staff and bringing in a great OC looked a lot better than starting over with a guy not named Jimbo or Herman. It was a rational and constructive solution to a problem that had no "Home Run" solution. It's that simple.

Get over it.
Coach O it is.

No it wasn't. Hiring a 10-25 coach you can effectively control is not a good hire. It's that simple.

I don't think you can read. My first post mentions ignorant people in Louisiana that pushed this hire. I'm referring to other programs wanting O.

Keep laughing. We were sinking and needed to bail out the boat and we just hired a bigger anchor

Looking at 3 coaches was a terrible decision. We should have conducted a national search. There are plenty of very good coaches with much better resumes than O. It's sad that you are blind to that fact.

how?

especially if his plan is to rely on coordinators b/c he sucks at being a head coach

that means we're going to end up constantly having to start over when those coordinators leave

so logically it doesn't even make sense as an argument

Why do you think it is that not one FBS program has extended an offer to O since 2007?
