The buzz around town is that he's gone.

Talk radio, water cooler chat, anyone I talk to think Les is gone.
Yet reports are that UM has not even contacted Les at this time.
It is just an obvious choice that Les cannot turn down again that is making everyone come to this conclusion?

Yes and the fact that they are waiting until the game is played to contact him.

If they call, he's gone. He earned it IMO.

Going to happen after the Bowl game.

This time Les gets to screw over Michigan, like they did him last time.
He wiill drag it out, then won't go. They embarassed him big time by not even contacting him last go round. Then RR gets the gig, and screws up the works. Miles doesnt want to "rebuild" Michigan.

On the flip side, if Les really does consider UM his "dream job" he will leave in a heartbeat...after the Cotton Bowl. After all, if your dream job came up and you had the opportunity to take it, wouldn't you? Les is a Big Ten coach and he knows it seeing that he's taken a ton of heat the past few years, even after winning it all. He may feel better about heading to Michigan too, seeing that Pryor may be heading for the NFL.

Didn't you start a thread that was immediately taken down saying that you have heard from players that he's staying?

Maybe not Les directly but I'll bet Les's agent has heard something.

Not much buzz about Les on Michigan boards. Say there are really bad stories about him and his character and that he's a loon.
Word is that they are starting to look at Fitzgerald.
That's just what I read on the mgoblog.

Do you honestly think they would say if they have talked?
The public will know only after its a done deal.

You really think they didnt? I really doubt it.
He was going until it got leaked and blew up in his face. If ESPN hadnt leaked it, He would be in Michigan already.
