The brutality on this board toward realists is uncalled for-Os not my 1st choice

But when it's all said and done, he will likely be OUR HC. What are we going to do? Rally around him and the program or take to the streets in protests, burning cars and breaking storefront windows.
Yes Tiger fans matter. But at the end of the day we are all Tiger fans.

The bashing is coming from fear...
LSU is said to be a top 5 type job...
If our former DL coach gets the job, it won't feel very presitgious, and we understand O is a great passionate guy that we all love.
He's a great recruiter and motivator...many of us just don't believe he should be the face of the program..
Can he get the job done with great coordinators? Probably like Les did with great talent...but we see Les let the program slide backwards after the 2011 disaster championship game, the program took a massive black eye and really never fully recovered.
Hiring O wouldn't be a huge backslide but I don't think it moves us forward to the program we want to be...
If you coach isn't in high demand as a HC, then maybe that's a sign he isn't the guy most qualified.
it's not a knock, not everyone is born to be an Elite HC running a 135 million dollar profit center...few are...
