Canada wasnt on campus but for about a month here. Nothing really happened til spring and went downhill in the fall

I definitely believe the tantrums part. I witnessed a few.
Canada is a very vocal man about his stance.
But when your job is to put points up and win games, having the ability to do your job hindered by your boss is a recipe for bad performance.

Well, it sounds like an oil and water situation to me. I don't think it's unreasonable for the head coach to expect the offense to fit within the overall team agenda.
At the same time, the job was sold as the OC would have full autonomy. I have no idea the extent to which Canada was handcuffed, but I think it's understandable for him to be pissed if the reality of the job isn't what he thought, or was told, it would be.

i really dont know how much he was so called handcuffed vs having to simplify it for the position coaches to teach it. I dont care what you say thats a complicated offense to learn when never dealing with it and i believe our coaches had trouble picking it up so he had to simplify it after O said dumb this shite down a little.

Obviously this is all hearsay, but you don't undermine your boss or business even if he's an idiot. I've had my share of bad bosses on the civilian and military side and whether I agreed with them or not, I didn't undermine them. You use your influence to redirect them, state your case and further your cause. The moment you diminish their authority or go outside appropriate channels you are done.
