They're Crazy and they have lots of money.

Has that ever turned out well?

Jeff Traylor (UTSA)

Makes too much sense, but probably not high profile enough for A&M. Their expectations are to steal a coach from a high profile program.

Why go after the best coach when you can spend the most money?

If he were a few years younger I'd throw Willie Fritz into the conversation.

Whittingham would fit the tough mindset that A&M needs to get but he would never leave Utah I don’t believe. Not sure how old he is either.

I still think Elko is the call here. I hope he isn’t because I think he can be really good.

I would consider Alabama more obsessed than crazy. There's a line there, and aTm is on the far side.

This is what I'm thinking too. Elko as HC, but keep Petrino. Our offensive woes this year are more about Addazzio and injuries than poor play calling by Petrino.

I’m really thinking they make a play for Dabo and they land him. He could use a change of scenery from Clemson, they would love to overpay for a championship winning coach and he would fit in with that cult over there. Although I dunno how he would work with the NIL there.

Good chance he’s gone after this year, but not to Texas A&M. The boosters/ fanbase would riot

I still think Elko is the obvious hire here and makes the most sense.
