I have heard from a couple of places in the last hour or so that Hart is planning on doing another interview in the morning in New York.
I don't know for sure who that is at this point. Larry Fedora is a name you hear, but I can't say for sure that they are going to talk to him.
So I am trying to find out who the other guy is.
A decision could come tomorrow or Wednesday. I do believe it will be done this week. Gundy and Strong are clearly two finalists and we are trying to see who this third guy is.
I think Strong would take the job if offered. I'm not sure where Gundy is after interviewing with Arkansas. I'm not sure he's eliminated Tennessee.

Strongs comments during his presser tell you all you need to know.
He was asked about being at UL next year, he responded "I'll talk about that when the time is right". Then makes a comment that his fans should support UL athletics like the Big Blue Nation down the road. I'm sure that went over well. He's dodging everything. I think he is gone, but to where?

Excuse my ignorance, but why is he interviewing people in New York?

I didn't think Strong was gone until I heard that, couldn't believe he said that. Strait Johnelled' them again.
If he stays he will have to issue an apology. But I don't think he cares anymore.

Also, with the Rumors of Strong leaving....UL fans have "sources" that Petrino is coming home. I would

Yeah, and then the part of he would still coach against UK and coach against them every year. Wonder where he could do that, especially with the UK v UL game may ending at the end of the contracts.

Fulmer is in New York to be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and most of Tennessee's AD is there for that. A lot of coaches are there as well.

SIAP but sonny Dykes was in NYC today. Possible interview? Of course NLa radio would never be able to come up with that analysis.

Pelini was not present today for his OWN show, FWIW... no excuse was given.
Many believe that he was out interviewing last week and left the team in his assistants' hands. Players figured he was leaving, hence their poor performance...
wow.... That does make a lot of sense actually except for the fact that it would get out by now.

Agreed. He has certainly backed down from his hard line stance last week before the game VS Rutgers.

fwiw, Strong to Tenn. makes the most sense given his job history at least to me.
