Might consider Frank Wilson, because he may consider preemptive leaving before he's fired next year. Also get to learn under a real football coach.

Correction Dave didn’t graduate from Aug but he was a former head coach. His son is at St Aug now. (Caught 3tds vs CBR)

Cordova did graduate from Aug.

Hard to believe that some of these DB coaches get looked at since we have Corey (assuming he is going to be retained of course). The only option they would have is changing what position group they would coach.

Did things end on bad terms in South Bend? Did Freeman bring someone with him? Or did Terry want the DC position himself?

Problem is we’re set in the secondary with Raymond, unless we double up back there with a safeties coach?

Otherwise he would make a lot of sense.

How good is Hankton and Johnson? Can they recruit good? No offense to Faulk but he hasn't really done much with the RB room and definitely isn't a world beater at recruiting.

Get Golding, Hankton, Johnson lock shite down in Louisiana. Nobody comes in these borders you win championships. That simple.

Headed to Florida with Napier...

Jabbar Juluke
quote:

After the conclusion of the 2019 season, Juluke was named the 2019 FootballScoop Running Backs Coach of the Year after leading Louisiana’s backs to the best rushing season in program history. Throughout the course of the year, the team broke school records in total rushing yards (3,604) and rushing touchdowns (42). By the end of the year, the team ranked third nationally in yards per rush (6.28), third nationally in total rushing touchdowns and sixth in total rushing yards, and helping the Louisiana offense rank.

quote:

Juluke came to Louisiana from Texas Tech where he served as the Associate Head Coach/Running Backs coach. The Red Raiders averaged 140.9 yards per game on the ground in 2017 as the offensive averaged 34.3 points per game.

quote:

Prior to his time at Texas Tech, Juluke spent the 2016 season as the running backs coach at LSU under Les Miles. Juluke tutored one of the nation’s top running backs while with the Tigers in Leonard Fournette, who battled through several injuries to rush for 843 yards and eight touchdowns over seven games. In Fournette’s absence, Juluke mentored Derrius Guice, pushing the sophomore to 1,428 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground as LSU’s primary option out of the back field.

quote:

Juluke began his college coaching career at Louisiana Tech where he helped push the Bulldogs to consecutive nine-win seasons and back-to-back postseason victories in the 2015 New Orleans Bowl and the 2014 Zaxby’s Heart of Dallas Bowl. It marked the first time Louisiana Tech had won back-to-back bowl games in school history. Under Juluke’s direction, Kenneth Dixon became one of the most prolific running backs in NCAA history. Dixon, who was selected in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, ended his Louisiana Tech career as the NCAA’s all-time leader among running backs for career total touchdowns (87), points scored (522) and games played with a touchdown (38).

quote:

Juluke arrived at Louisiana Tech following nine years as the head coach at Edna Karr High School in New Orleans. Juluke was regarded as one of Louisiana’s top high school coaches during that time as he compiled an 80-39 record that was capped by a perfect 14-0 mark and a Class 4A state title in 2012.

quote:

Prior to his stint at Edna Karr, Juluke served as the defensive coordinator for four years at nearby Frederick Douglas High School (1999-03) in New Orleans and was the wide receivers coach at Brother Martin High School (1998) for one year before that. Juluke began his coaching career as an assistant coach at McKinley High School in 1995 before moving to O.P. Walker High School in New Orleans the following year. He later spent two seasons at St. Augustine High School (1996-97) as linebackers coach.

That’s a pretty good resume.

Scratch this one off the list. He has been living in Michigan for 20 plus years. He is coaching at his alma mater and hasn’t been around New Orleans sports in over 20 years.

Jabbar Juluke is a knockoff Frank Wilson

I heard first hand from a prominent football family in Algiers that the guy is as fraudulent as they come.
