TCU's short list is an odd mix

Kellen Moore is out leaving the remaining list according to Yahoo Sports

I bet they go hard after Napier

If they could pull Campbell, the timing would be good due to the vacuum at the B12 top.

Primetime back in dallas would be all kinds of entertaining

I don't see them being able to pull Campbell.
Crazy that they thought they could get kellen moore.

Why would Campbell leave Iowa state for tcu?

He wouldn’t. No idea why anyone would think Campbell may go to TCU. His next job is a big boy college job or an NFL gig.

I wonder if Kellen Moore took himself out the running, or if the school did.

It's a slight step up because he would be able to recruit easier in Texas and TCU has more money, better facilities, but it likely wouldn't be enough to motivate Campbell to move.
Deion is un-serious because he's not experienced enough to run a P5 program.
From that list I'd say Napier or Dykes are the real targets.

Dykes seems to be a better fit at a program that has more advantages in his conference. He killed it at LA Tech and SMU, but struggled at a less advantaged school like Cal.
I don’t think he wants the TCU job.

Other candidates who are known to be on TCU’s list include Iowa State’s Matt Campbell, SMU’s Sonny Dykes, Louisiana’s Billy Napier, Jackson State’s Deion Sanders, Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken and Clemson defensive coordinator Brett Venables.
Clemson offensive coordinator Tony Elliott and Denver Broncos running backs coach Curtis Modkins are also among those in consideration.
TCU has made “great progress” in its coaching search but a hiring is “not imminent,” a source said on Monday.
TCU athletic director Jeremiah Donati would like to have the next coach in place by early December with the early signing period for the 2022 recruiting class starting Dec. 15.

Napier to TCU would surprise me. Considering he turned down Tennessee and Auburn only to end up at TCU?

Damn the list of schools Napier has turned down is growing (all without evidence)
Auburn
Tennessee
USCe

I feel like Matt Campbell’s name is being floated a lot for a guy people keep saying would never leave the midwest. In the past couple days I’ve seen him connected to USC, LSU, and now TCU.
Signaling his availability behind the scenes? Or media just making assumptions?

My mistake on thinking was Texas Tech that hired yesterday.
