Depends how the buyout is structured. If it's installments over several years, he's not taking a discount in the open market.

Nobody wants to see their program lessened for the benefit of a peer. Having lived in Florida and married a women from Florida some of my very best friends are Noles fans. They are fantastic football fans, it can't be easy losing your national Championship winning coach to another school.

It could be leverage but do you really think Jimbo is trying to advantage of FSU two years in a row? I don't think he's doing that now and I don't think he intended on doing it last year either. Things just fell apart at the very end last year.
