not to be that guy but wasn't it rumored that an over zealous Auburn insider blew up that deal by essentially doing just this a few years ago? Just walking out on a limb here but if the guy wants to coach through the playoffs and you frick that up for him, you could potentially frick up the unsigned deal you think you have in place
