Why would he go outside for OC when you already have one? He's looking for a DC.

We have an OC, but if we didn't Yost would be my first call. I've been stumping for Yost since Les was fired.

I say,the hiring of a QB/OC,,because I get this gut feeling that there is going to be a shakeup (maybe an Ensminger retirement?)...maybe that gut feeling is from the Burrito ...to be continued...gotta run...Now that's the burrito..

Lol

Compare Burrows Jr year under E to his SR year under Brady

E would have been fired under any other coach that he wasn’t buddy buddy with

Dude has become a charity case at this point. Loved as a man but his principles as a coach are outdated

Why don't you compare the play of the OL from 2018 and 2019? Slinger wanted to implement a full spread offense, but couldn't due to the porous OL. Had to keep in a TE to help block. Go watch the 2018 Fiesta Bowl LSU versus UCF. Slinger without Brady went spread. Burrow throws for 394 yards and 4 TD's. Brady came in and implemented more of the RPO stuff and that expanded the offense even more. You are the only charity case on TigerDroppings, and mods need to fire your biased Arse.

You seem to oddly forget LSU's offense put up some crazy high numbers at the end of last season too. Do you remember when the offense put up like 10 TDs in 2-3 games? That's when you saw Burrow's maturity blossom and some smart media outlets picked him as a darkhorse candidate for heisman. You also seem to not know that slinger was calling the majority of the offense this season. Brady only called it in limited sets like bunch sets or on the goaline. Ensminger deserves as much credit as Brady for running this offense. Brady was the architect but Ensminger/Munoz were the molders.

It goes much further than the OL

Outdated concepts
Lacked play calling aggressiveness
Poor substitution patterns at WR

All stuff that completely changed this year. Because Joe Brady & only joe Brady

LSU does not currently have an OC. Let’s be real about this. Ensminger made a Heisman caliber QB look pedestrian.

Where Brady deserves the most credit and probably the most underrated thing outside him bringing the offense here...is the WRs. That's the main reason why LSU was able to explode on offense this year. I don't think LSU WRs had more than like 10-15 drops on the season total. Maybe not even that many. They never dropped the ball it seemed like. That goes to Brady and the system he put in place. You can't just discredit Ensminger and Munoz for running this offense though they were significant pieces in it too. None of it would've worked without a perfect storm with great chemistry.

Competition was poor

Joe Brady’s plays

Throwing to the WRs that Brady molded

There’s very little value in that. Again, let’s just be real. Nice guy but come on

LSU needs to hire a full fledged play caller & developer

Even O has credited the growth maturity and better play from the OL this season. Burrow was kept clean, rarely sacked, so those deep throws had time to develop. Send in your resume to Coach O for the passing game coordinator Earl, maybe with your great insight you'll merit an interview.

Yeah a few. But I’m out of the game. No more inside stuff on TD.

Guys, seriously, stop. What we saw this year wasn’t E.

Brady brought the offense, but he had also never called a single play in a game in his life. If you think that Ensminger’s experience didn’t help him succeed here and that Brady didn’t learn anything from him, then you are fooling yourself. And I say that as someone who was very critical of Ensminger the previous season.

I absolutely wouldn’t have trusted Ensminger to come up with an offense like this. I wouldn’t trust him to start over from scratch. However, I do think he’s capable of continuing to run this offense with help from someone smart and aggressive who can fill Brady’s role.

Yup. This team was just perfectly put together and all the pieces fell in as good as you could possibly expect. The OL was consistent and great. The WRs dominated and rarely dropped balls. Burrow jumped in maturity at the right time. etc.

Yeah I agree Brady molded the wideouts, which was his job as passing game coordinator
You set have to bring in someone else like that.
But to say it's as simple as "look at e from 2018 to 2019" is naive and just dumb

So much more to it than that
