Florida or LSU doesn’t have Mark Cuban money. Just say you’re mad. Don’t throw rocks at other people because we are shite for this time being.

I’d rather take a chance on a coach that makes 1.4 million a year like Eric Morris. You can pay him 4-5 million and you know you will have a good offense at the very least. If he doesn’t work out you can move on.
You’re legitimately the dumbest poster on this board. Which is incredibly hard to do. Congrats

Saban was a veteran NFL and college defensive coordinator who had just led a second-tier Big 10 program to a Top 10 finish in a season where they beat Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, and Spurrier-led Florida.
Miles had P5 coordinator experience, had coached in the NFL, and had the highest winning % of any Oklahoma State coach since the 40s along with multiple wins over Top 4 ranked Oklahoma.
Those are not comparable resumés to a career position coach who's not even winning more games than the guy he replaced at Tulane.

This goes to show you how terrible and desperate these coaching searches are. There's no hot names. I mean, I like Kiffin but my god if he's at the top of your list it tells you how dire these searches are.

Think about using 2000 and 2005 as your evidence for 2025 in college football and think you’re making a good point

Sumrall replaced 17 players that that left including their starting QB and has his team 2 wins away from the CFP. Thats pretty impressive.

Napier left for UF before Sumrall was a HC.

Every good HC hire LSU has made ever was not a "sitting, successful P5 HC".
um.
Nick Saban just finished up a 9 win season at Mich State
Les Miles had just finished a better 4 year run than Jimmy Johnson had at Okie State.
both would be considered “successful” at P5 schools prior to LSU.

That’s how important getting Kiffin is to LSU. If we have to settle we’ll have spent a lot of money to not change for the better (at least measurably).

He has a mediocre resume and he’s an a hole besides
The guy has issues
No way

He is the Tulane equivalent to Dan Hawkins or Drink. Each followed a successful coach who built a program up at a small school and moved on. The program was already established, and the coach was able to come in on cruise control. Sumrall needs to show that he can win for more than two years, sustain a program, and beat P4 teams.

Bruh, you may want to refresh your Missouri history at the end of the Gary Pinkal/Barry Oden era
