There's no way in hell he's coming here. They'll probably make the playoffs. We will have a new coach before then.
Update... So I just looked at their schedule. Their last 3 games are tough with Baylor, Iowa St and Okie St. Oklahoma would have to lose 1-2 of those for him to be a candidate.

I think we’re all realistic that it’s probably very unlikely. But many of us are super excited about the possibility, however small it is
We need some sort of phrase/comment or something to basically downplay/dismiss and throw a wet blanket on any Riley talk but those of us in on it know what we’re doing
Because yes, if there is any possibility of it actually happening we certainly don’t want to inadvertently bring attention to it and derail it somehow

Very very unlikely that Riley happens. But your reasoning is completely wrong. o is going to be here until the bowl game. And if you can get Lincoln Riley, then you get Lincoln Riley. Playoffs be damned.

Look, one of two things is going to happen; Riley will be the new head coach at LSU, or he is going to flirt hard for a pay raise at Oklahoma. His name is going to be included, regardless of whether or not you like it.

Sage advice. Please get with Woodward and Riley to explain this dire situation. Also, please reiterate to us fans that if your team is in the running for the playoffs, there's absolutely no shot of becoming the next football coach at LSU. Woodward without question needs to reel in the hottest name of the coach whose team will finish 8-4/9-3 and be eliminated from playoff contention. I don't think I've ever feasted my eyes on anything that made more sense. Bravo!!!!
