I just feel we can get both a better coach and recruiter in this on-field staff position. Heck keep him at same pay as a analyst.

Coached the best O line In the country one year ago and all of the O line returned to be coached by Cregg. Recruiting is a legit complaint but I don’t think he’s a bad coach at all.

All that implies is he is liked. Not that he is good and/or upgradable coach.

He could still be replaced after signing day. Not saying he will be but it’s not out of the realm of possibility.

Keeping Cregg on staff was probably part of why so many O Linemen returned. I am sure if he was fired then most of them would have departed. Also kept for recruiting purposes this year due to needing to finish strong with OL.

We are on track to have an excellent 2022 OL recruiting class.

You want to fire him the year before the best in-state OL class in over a decade?

O cleaned house but kept Cregg. Does that tell You anything about Cregg? You know the guy that won the Joe Moore award and sent a couple of former 3 star O lineman to the pros last year where they became starters as rookies. You know the guy who got the whole OL to return this year. Yes let's fire him. Hell let's fire the cheerleaders and the band while we are at it. Let's not to stop there let's fire the AD. Hell let's close down the university.

You should direct your question to Derek Ponamsky, Director of Coaching Personnel.

Well, he's like 100k away from getting paid money as the best OL coach in NCAA. Do you think he's 1a as a coach for the OL? That money could easily get you an elite coach who's better at recruiting and developing than him. He's O's buddy though so I can see why he's still here.

If he's still here after signing day I sure hope someone picks up his slack for his recruiting because he's awful at it.

First part might be true not the second part. He's a liability in recruiting. Say what you will on his development skills his recruiting SUCKS period.

this just proves you don't understand football very well. The award for "best" rarely goes to the best.

Keep him this year. We had so much turn over. If you have to replace him next then so be it. Will suck if it’s next year and ends up making us lose a recruit though.

We had enough other fires to put out this year.

Didn't he break a leg in the NFL? Wasn't that the OL fault?

His OL was terrible at Bengals so yeah. I would say it's a little deceptive at how well they protected Burrow last year. He actually got hit a lot in games but he was able to make magician moves to get out of the sacks with his athleticism. Our OL was good last year but it definitely wasn't the best in NCAA as the reward says.

Did you see the line play in 2020?
If you can compare our last 2 year OL recruits to the top 1/2 of SEC where do you think we actually rate? Just with OL recruiting. Do not get me wrong he is not only one recruiting OL but does not seem we are improving at all.
