Kinda an odd fit but he improved OM a lot. Wonder what base defense he would run there.

I wish he would have stayed at Ole Miss. He will have them in the top 10 defensively with all the talent they are stock pilling.

That should cause an interesting quagmire w/ all the DT’s and OLB’s they recruited this past year.

He had to because of injuries on the DL. He will run four DL and should with all the talent on the line at A&M

We've been running several schemes over the last two years. It wasn't because of injuries. We keep switching between 3-4, 3-3-5, and 3-2-6.

Wasn’t Ole Miss’ defense ranked 97th overall this year?

Anyone that actually watched a number of our games through the season can see the improvement in the 2nd half of the season. That defense carried our injured offense most of the games after their atrocious showing against Arkansas.

Y’all played Vandy, Mississippi State, A&M, and Baylor consecutively. Probably the worst offensive FBS teams on your schedule, no chance that was the cause of the improvement right? I’m just saying that OM played a pretty weak slate overall and your defense almost finished outside of the top 100

Good hire

Kiffin must be an a-hole and nobody wants to work with him.

I've heard he has been negotiating to stay as well (as of Sunday morning), obviously that changes rapidly. I doubt it has much to do with Kiffin being as a-hole, as much as it does the amount of talent that A&M is bringing in and his increase in salary that he will get there.

IMO regarding teams stock piling athletes with NIL money, you can only put 11 on the field at a time. Depth is nice to have but it’s more and more about match-ups in college ball. It’s definitely that way in the NFL. Having depth helps with the inevitable injury problems but not so much when offenses are looking for weak spots on every down.
