Agreed, which is why I find it very strange. That tells me that a deal with Gilbert likely fell through, possibly because he didn’t want to be “co-OC” with Ensminger. Also, coaches talk, and O’s handling of the Canada situation may make some guys back off.

What is your issue dude... why do you have a problem with people claiming to have sources... I have no clue if GTN or TBL are going to be correct, but they have a history of being correct before news comes out. So obviously they know someone. This is a Message board where we talk football and rumors... why people like you like to be a jack** I never know. Mabe you need Jesus in your life so you can be a little nicer

I kind of feel the same. Love their site and enjoy reading their takes, even pay to do so.
That said, since the "5 for 5" scenario, they are very cautious with their info and at we times completely off the mark or late to the party on info. Still believe both have good solid inside connections but not the dead balls on connections. Too much gray area in their tidbits. Lots of room for being wrong given. Tells me they nor the people giving up info are extremely confident in the info. More cautiously optimistic style of info. I appreciate the honesty in it but it's not the info I used to get nor the kind info really worth paying for. Tigerlawyer is the real insider.

Orgeron and Alleva will be fired if it’s Ensminger.
Anything pointing to Ensminger is fake news setting expectations low so that the hire is well-received. I don’t know If it will be Gilbert or someone else, but it definitely will not be Ensminger.

The first official report of Canada and LSU splitting came Friday night to bury the bad news.
Then LSU confirmed the buyout amount Saturday night.
The national championship game is Monday so no way in hell it comes out then.
Look for an announcement Tuesday heading into Thursday’s end of the dead period.

Honestly, I think O has fixed all the leaks and any leaks now are controlled or forced. So the only things we hear (leaked) is what O wants out. Same thing with Sonny and Shea (besides what they hear directly from recruits).
I think these names are leaked for show. If O wants SE, then he is doing this to ‘show’ he is trying for the fan pleasing names, when he isn’t.

I thought the Gilbert stuff sounded sketchy from the beginning
There were 3-4 other names we were vetting, then all of a sudden Gilbert’s name comes out of nowhere, he interviews, has a great interview, and the information is already on TD all within an afternoon... just seemed to fast to me

I understand the false info narrative, I really do.
But i have been correct about everything else until now. Why now of all times would i be given something completely wrong?
