Some may get their wish ...

Some of you folks may be about to get your wish.
I've got peace of mind though.
For the past year, you've told me that Saban, Gruden, Patterson, Petersen, etc., would all give their left nuts to come to LSU.
I admit ... I'm going to enjoy the meltdown when we end up with Houston Nutt or Mike Gundy.

If Nutt comes to LSU I will become an Ole Piss fan and then shoot myself.

That is just it, I don't think Miles is the best coach out there by any means, but we are not assured that we get a better coach, or even as good of a coach, by replacing him.
Moreover, from a time perspective, this could not be happening at a worse time.
I fear that LSU might be on the verge of a big setback.

We are losing a legendary coach in Les Miles. His work in developing Shep, JJ, and J. Lee was really a hallmark of his career. He was part of the best duo in college football in Crowton and Miles. Together, they could not be stopped.
What other coach could come in and recruit 4 and 5 star recruits like Miles and utilize them the way Miles has? What other coach could come in and recruit 4 and 5 recruits and still lose a minimum of two games a year/

Chavis goes to Texas ... the staff is scattered to the winds ... we lose several monster recruits ...
Aw heck, what are message forums for, but idle, negative speculation.
But seriously, this would be a terribly bad year, AND a terribly bad time of year--for LSU to have to shop for a new coach.

So now fat bald band parent creep posi-tigers hope we get a bad coach? But yet the negatigers aren't real tiger fans, right?

so we are going to hire an underqualified coach again? that sucks

Just think ... we'll get rid of Crowton this way.
Though I must admit, this is like the old country expression--blowing up the barn to kill the rat.
