So what we know on Lane as of now

Is that:
He signed a MOU already
Has closed on a house in BR and put his house in Oxford on the market
Enrolled Knox at U-High with entrance exam already completed
Has a deal in place to let the band play Neck as part of his contract
Has an NIL deal in place with Canes for Juice
Will bring Scott Cochran on as S/C coach who also is house shopping already
Will bring CEO on as DLine coach who has already given word to his people to get his BR house ready for him to move back in on a permanent basis.
What else?

People do get better at their craft with time and experience.
But honestly, I have very mixed feelings about Kiffin. My biggest concern is that he's looking to deliberately frick LSU as both petty payback and as a timeless gift to the OM fanbase. His already documented lack of loyalty is a thing, too. But if LSU lands him I will get on board. The Spurrier comparison is dead on. In hindsight I think we all love Spurrier and his smart mouth but back in the 1990s I did not love him. But I sure would have if he had been my guy.

Scott isn’t leaving West Alabama. He’s HC over there. He’s working a few more years to be fully vested in the Alabama retirement system then likely retiring.
