I think the AD is going to realize he needs to do something drastic soon. Fans are no longer going to basketball games and everyone I know is saying they will not go to a football game next year if Bustle is coaching. It's about to look like the Jerry Baldwin era in the stands again.

Agree with 2/3. Robichaux will not be fired; he will leave on his own, which may be pretty soon.

This guy is a joke and should have never been hired. But under the circumstances I understand they had to do something quick.

So should Weatherbie at ULM be canned? 6-6 this year and they failed to close out some games they should've won.

I would piss my pants in laughter at Ed Orgeron coaching the Ragin Cajuns. Too perfect to even draw up.

That said, I think he could actually be successful there. At the Sun Belt level if you have a big enough gap in talent, game planning can be marginalized enormously. Thats where Ed would have his success.

Plenty of successful 1AA coaches to go around, but why would a top notch 1AA coach leave to go to a consistant bottom 1A program?

Speaking of 1AA... it's where they belong! Just saying.

It's why Troy is successful, they get transfers from big time programs. Basically thugs and idiots who are good at football. If Coach Yaw Yaw Footbaw could get some good recruits in here, that would be badass.

no offense but I don't think O is that desperate for a head gig again. He's better off taking over as DC in a season or 2 when kiffin dies.

None taken, I don't think he would leave Tennessee to come down here either. This whole thread is about thinking out loud though. Some people around here want Major Applewhite.

Trooper Taylor would sort of fit the mold of that guy who will recruit like hell for you.

it'd be similar to memphis hiring porter

I've heard they're also looking at Butch Pierre for basketball, that would be one helluva pair.
