Trooper Taylor is a person who I would really be excited to have.

Bustle is making somewhere around 200,000 I think. With the establishment of the RCAF, I think we could realistically shoot for 500,000 per year. It all depends on who we're going for, I think the oil money in Lafayette would get behind a good hire.

Bustle's son went to Lafayette High the same time I was there... and he was our punter.

i think there were a lot of people that were holding off on donating before the RCAF was formed, because the university would take all the money and none of it would go to where the donors wanted, which was athletics. I think they can definitely start getting more money into the program now.

Yeah, our administration straight up refused to put money into athletics. Our fans had been calling for the RCAF for a while. I really hope we fire Robert Lee soon because I've stopped going to games completely. Butch Pierre makes a lot of sense.

We're going to see what our administration is about when they hire our next basketball and football coach. 500k was just a guess on my part; I'm hoping they surprise me and put up some more money.

I could see them getting a coach to take a little less money if they commit to spending more on assistants and improving the facilities. But they can't pay what Memphis is paying.

ULL also needs to stop taking revenues from football and placing them in the general budget. Paid $750,000 (or so) from LSU and then begs the Admin for a bone once the funds are placed in gb.

We need to definitely fire our wide receivers and defensive backs coaches. I've never seen a group of wide receivers who do such a poor job at catching 5 yard passes.

One thing is certain, whoever the coach is, he will have a lot of talent at the qb position. I personally think Blaine Gautier is our best qb, what do you think?

Since I moved I haven't kept up as much, but I would probably agree that he's the best they have at QB. How did their RBs do this season, like that Walked kid they signed late last year and redshirted, they had high hopes for him.

I do think they should be all over Gautier's old teammate (Gavin Webster) for football and baseball.

And a more long term thing they need to do is work with the local high schools on getting their players eligible for college sports, they can't recruit half the talent in their own area because the kids are too dumb/lazy to make the grades.

Yobes Walker has talent but he just doesn't know the plays and his vision is awful. Undrea Sails was really good for us before he broke his leg. Our runningback situation got so bad that we made Marlin Miller a rb... and he ended up being the best one we had. We even gave Matt Dupre significant carries.

Everyone is anticipating Rob Walker next year, he became eligible a few weeks ago.

Ledarius Green is going to be our only player who can catch a pass next year since Luke Aubrey is graduating. With that being said about the wide receivers, I want Blaine Gautier to start because he's our best dual threat qb. Masson is a decent passer but is scared to run and McGuire is a very good runner but has happy feet and just takes off. Gautier looked very good in limited play throwing on the run and putting the ball on the money.

Way too passive of a gameplan, we have our corners giving a 10 yard cushion and we didn't start blitzing until like 2 games ago. Plus our safeties always look confused so I'm sure a lot of that's on him too.
