People have realized that his offense is a joke and that he is not really a very good coach. Cam Newton could have made anybody look like an offensive genius.

malzhan's offense has only looked great when he ran a deep tree, single back 4 WR hurry up in a non-BCS conference (which means no pass rushers and plenty of zone D) OR when he ran his motion-based spread option with cam newton

Gus is fine as an OC, hard to win with Trotter and Crybaby Moseley. We will see if he can win with Frazier.
Aub had issues this year but mostly due to Roof and Chizik's D. Roof is toast we will see if it was scheme or talent at least to some extent in the bowl game.

The guy had ONE bad year! One bad year with an offensive line that couldn't block a girl scout troop. One bad year with two QB's that wouldn't start anywhere else in the SEC. One bad year with only (1) effective WR and (1) effective TE. One bad year with a defense that was totally ineffective.
I'm all for results. I could give a shite if Gus is coaching the O @ Auburn or if Ronald McDonald does. As long as they get results, I don't care. However, it takes more than a single season to make estimations on coaches. Hiring the hot coach gets you Turner Gill.
