Yeah. Didn’t say any different. Just think it’s dumb to say the preseason number 10 team who has multiple first rounders on offense “probably had no business being top 10 without good coaching”

Washington won 4 games the year before they hired him.
then 11 his first year and 14 his 2nd

even talented teams need a good coach.

Florida hired a guy who coached Utah.

Worked out well.

Took a 3 star QB with an average team and had one of the best offenses in CFB the past 2 years, beat a solid Oregon and Texas team and then hit the wall vs a very tough Michigan team with a solid Defensive front that forced their QB off rhythm all night.

Dude can coach, but the talent differential eventually catches up to you

U Michigan [which had a very nice, balanced squad] good luck to him in the SEC.

Oh, so we gonna just ignore they beat straight up Nick Saban’s Alabama, the SEC champion, and after a rough start the creme of the conference in November.

Just gonna ignore that and patronizingly give a pat on the head and an atta boy for having a nice “balanced squad”

News flash: Washington would have beaten at minimum 85% of the SEC this year. The ONLY folks in their league was Bama and UGA.

He's gonna need a much better stable of horses than he had at U Washington

I might be mistaken but I believe Alabama has a completely stacked roster.

Define “out there”. Everybody is out there, so he is far from the BEST. He may prove to be very good with Bama resources but far from best.

If he’s there 4 years, I think you’ll see a 9-3 and 8-4 type seasons, which Nick didn’t have except year 1. He won’t win 6 nattys because he’ll most likely be ran out of town. I think he’ll be okay, but not up to Bama standards. I feel like Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, and maybe Auburn surpass Alabama. The question is can he sustain the success that Nick brought? If he’s making the playoffs every year, he should be fine.
