Just 3 days ago there was a tenner fan telling me Josh would never leave for LSU and that the Vols were a superior program

I don’t know if he comes or not, but to think a coach wouldn’t leave Tennessee for another school is crazy. It happens. Whether it’s issues with administration, lack of prospects in close proximity, or 100 different things. Sometimes people want to make a change.

The biggest advantage Tennessee has in recruiting are in Memphis and Nashville. The rise of Ole Miss and Vanderbilt aren't going to make things easier for them.

I will AFTER the new AD is announced. This is the key as things may change depending on who is selected.

I'm not happy bout this at all. Do not want Josh Heupel. Tennessee had tons of talent this year and he hasn't done anything with it.

He has a QB from App State, a bunch of injuries, and an extremely young defense

Kiffin would be a million times better fit at LSU.

From my Baton Rouge “sources” (take with heavy grain of salt): Nick Saban flew into BR earlier this week, was offered $20m/yr for 3 years. Gets to handpick his successor and becomes AD after the 3 years is up. Going to talk it over with Miss Terri

Well, everybody remembers the rumor from earlier this week at second was spotted on campus

A qb he got from APP state AFTER spring practice when his returning starter had a hold out.

What has he done under those circumstances?

Have the number 4 offense in the country and the best in the SEC in both total yards and points.

Yes better than Kiffins.

I wasn’t high on Heupel but he did go to playoffs with Nico and has this team way better than what they were supposed to be

Heupel would weigh 500 lbs after a couple of years surrounded by Louisiana cuisine.

Heupel in year 2…. I wouldn’t be mad at the hire if it happened though.

When was the last time we had a fat coach? Would be funny. I like the TN coach. He should smartly realize he can’t get over the hump there. TN doesn’t have that much in state recruiting to fall back on and they’re trying to run him out of town for going 8-4 in a rebuilding year.
