He was let go by Kiffin at Ole Miss. Should Coach O attempt to hire him as an analyst here at LSU?

I don’t think it’s a bad idea. He can be a analyst can only help.

Means he may open his playbook for Coach Emsminger to see, as I'm sure he would want to see the Brady/Ensminger playbook as well.

He's not a bad OC couldn't hurt if he'd want something like that.

He doesn’t seem to be a good fit.

One of the reasons our offense was so good was because Brady and Burrow were a perfect fit.

Not sure how well Rich Rod and Brennan would fit.

Now Rich Rod and Parrish...

An analyst doesn't coach players on the field. Their job is to breakdown opponents game film and assist in preparing for that opponent. Analysts free up more time for on the field coaches to work directly with players, that way Coach E is NOT sitting in a room breaking down film. I'm sure Saban would hire him as an analyst and pick his brain while their, like he's done with Butch Jones, Sarkisian, and others in the past. Rich Rod has run the spread for many years, it would benefit having him around working with Slinger.

If rich rod is willing to come to LSU as an analyst, heck yeah we should take him. He could add some dangerous stuff to the playbook running the ball.

Was watching a guy on YT mention this list last night. Said LSU clearly has the spread passing concepts down. Rich would bring more of the running concepts out of the spread and just add another element and they’d have the best of both worlds

Whatever folks think of Rich Rod, dude can coach some offense. Head coach? Meh. Offensive analyst? Yes please

This is why he'd be a good fit with what LSU has in the backfield. They'll undoubtedly want to run more next year so getting the ball in the hands of all those elite skill position players LSU has outside the passing game would be perfect.

Could run plays with Chase in motion and freeze defenses with the option to hand it off to the WR in motion, QB running up middle, or handing the ball off to the RB to the opposite side. Not sure it would work with Brennan but you'd still at least have a more open offense for running. Be interesting to see how they run RPOs next season. Is Brennan mobile? I don't remember him being in HS. Got to have a mobile QB in modern NCAA.

Brennan ran an RPO offense in HS. 3 year Vasity Starter with over 15,000 passing yards and 165 TD's. We in good hands with Brennan.

STFU. Let Saban hire him then or Jimbo. Someone will bring him in as analyst as Ole Miss still pays him his buyout. Could help out Ensminger with the offense, with Brady gone and Munoz possibly leaving. No one is asking you to read any shite posted here.

Rich Rod would want complete control of the Offense. If Rich did come, and play nice, he wouldn't be here long at all.
