Honestly people who say he's going to UCLA are more knocking Kelly than UF. Basically Chip isn't cut out for a big time SEC program. He has the ability but his work ethic to be able to handle all that comes with an SEC gig is very questionable. If he was hungry and wanted to prove himself as one of the best he'd take Florida no doubt. He just isn't tho.

He didn't say UF is looking at other options now, he said UF may do that in the future. I think pretty much everyone agrees that if something is not done Sunday/Monday then it is probably a bad sign and we'd be looking at other options.

He wants to wait to see all options and UF does not want to be stalled and look like they have been turned down......Where have we seen this before?
My guess is they already feel he may move on and are moving on quickly to help appearances.

This Chip Kelly thread has had a monkey wrench thrown into it by Sumlin's pending separation.
Chip is keeping his options open and seeing who needs a coach after the dust clears. UF is doing the hard sell but he is holding them off so far.
Aggie is saying Jimbo is all but a done deal to go there. This leaves FSU full of talent and without a coach. A team full of talent in a recruiting rich environment could be very attractive to Chip.
This would be the biggest troll ever to the UF faithful if their savior went to Free Shoes U.

Chip has said frequently after he left The Ducks that if he went back to college, he would want to coach in the SEC. Now he has the chance with a great set up. The LSU game in 2011 had a big impact on Chip and Phil Knight of Nike who said, " we are not accustomed to playing these type of athletes." I think he goes to UCLA because he knows how to win in the PAC 12, and he has lost some confidence after the NFL humiliation.

Chip signed an agreement with Florida on Sunday. Agreement includes window for Chip to back out of deal. Hence UCLA talks.
