Would love Todd McClure to help. You know, like a Bama supplental coach.

The 'shadow staff' stuff is a real positive for LSU, if it's true.

CEO can build the infrastructure. In a few years, he's either proven to be much better than some of us thought, or he's set the table for a bright younger coach to come in and take over.

And you want Alleva leading the search for that bright younger coach? The man amazed by a binder?

That's real bad news to start. Grimes was the first one I wanted gone.

The proof's in the Pudding. His OL's can't pass block and have too many mental breakdowns/assignment busts during Big Boy games.

Been like that since he's been here.

Since he's apparently going to remain on the Staff, Jeff Grimes seriously needs to raise his standards and start recruiting some SEC caliber OL's instead of all those lower-tier OL's that don't belong anywhere near LSU! OL is the weakest area of the team by far.

Time to put up, shut up or get out of BR.

Nothing personal, it's business!.............

Mawae, McClure and Faneca as Tri-OL coaches.

Mawae-Tackles and TE's.
McClure-Centers
Faneca-Guards

I think Mawae should be under serious consideration. I believe he is employed by the Chicago Bears as an assistant offensive line coach, but I think his NFL experience and "the alma mater experience" recruiting factor could be valuable for the future with our offensive line.
I've been screaming this for years.

"But he's never coached Before." : The Rant..................

Experience doesn't seem to be a prerequisite anymore.
