I agree, Scott isn’t doing this to hire someone who isn’t even qualified to run a big time program at LSU abs race isn’t even a factor. If Savanna was black everyone would want him because he’s the best, not because he’s black.

Orgeron's guy Bruce Feldman initially dropped the line about "highly influential" people liking Tucker, then suddenly his name popped up everywhere on potential candidate lists this afternoon.

Didn’t Tate get in his own way by leaking his intentions to hire a minority coach? Why would a good coach come to a school knowing they were hired mainly because they are a minority?

Mel Tucker makes 5.6 million in a totally relevant conference. Aranda makes 4.0 million in a soon to be irrelevant conference. Unless you’re totally woke, Aranda is the clear choice that would probably be easier to get. Tucker would probably take 6.5 million or more. Does LSU want to break the bank to hire a big risk like Tucker.
