Saban's agent will float this stuff out there until every big job is filled especially NFL jobs. It's just positioning for Bama to pay him even more.

Already? Jeez, what's this guys coke habit?

We'll never see Saban in the pros again. Who would hire him? Far more guys out there qualified to run a pro football team than him.

It's not a knock on the guy....he should stay in his lane.

Tons of places. He improved the Dolphins in year one. Belichick and Carroll and plenty of other examples show that 2 years (one of which he may have had his foot out the door) is not enough time to judge.

I'v been saying since the off season this was his best chance to get out of gump town. everything will fall precisely in place once we pop that arse this weekend.

Every year with this crap. Look its time to move on. Saban isn't leaving Bama until 2044.

There's no way he's heading to the NFL this old.

The only option for Saban to ever return to the NFL is NYG when Coughlin retires. He could get total control and have a patient and understanding owner.

Saban and the New York media? Would be chewed up and spit out.

It's different obsessing over a coach who left for bigger and better things versus appreciating a coach who built a dynasty and coached the last game of his career in crimson.

Saban would never get along with Irsay.

Probably not - he would negotiate for control measures, at the very least.

At the end of the day, they wouldn't concede to his AD demands, which is why he is not in Austin right now. $10 million a year was the salary set by him (Sexton).

It's not coke - he got hosed in a series of bad real estate deals. He's not "broke", per se, but it was a big financial set back from where he wanted to be.

And, Nick has always chased the highest bidder - it's not something he does - it is who he is.

I had heard years ago it would be the JETS.. I still think he retires from BAMA.. The commentator job for the TV networks would be my best bet.... As far as Saban not being happy...... Saban is never happy
