Would this put Muschamp in play for DC openings?

Muschamp wouldn't come here. He just got out of a dumpster fire of his own creation. Why would he come into someone else's?

Possibly. Would depend on his buyout and if auburn would look to make him head coach on an interim level or full time. I don't know if they would do that though.

I'm looking around for losses to Georgia Southern and 5-7 seasons.

Don't see them.

You're also looking at a 1.7M salary plus buyout. You aren't going to see that either.

Do you have a link that isn't to the SEC Rant? I just haven't seen anything about this other than just talk on message boards.

I'd like it.

He bombed at Florida and would bomb at Auburn.

That would be better for us than him becoming out DC.

I'm wondering if there is an out-clause should Gus leave?

What, there is no "Gus Clause" in his contract at Auburn?

It might put Muschamp in the driver's seat for the HC job.

Muschamp just got $1.7 Million..

Miles has backed himself in a corner and now the Admin./TAF aren't going to keep forking up top dollar like that for assistants

Now, that is shortsighted.

If Muschamp landed here, and continued LSU's defensive success (or even better improved it), he'd be the most likely candidate to replace miles by far.
