It's not even a rumor. It's like two or three tweets from guys who write 49er blogs saying they wish Gus would go to the 49ers.
If it's not commented on by Rapaport, Schefter, Mortensen, or Glazier at this point you can pretty much know it has zero credibility.

This is rich...very very weak rumored connection between gus and the 49ers and you guys are fighting over if you could get WM. Didn't realize things were that bleak that this was were you were pinning your hopes.
