Bring him back!! Was lead analyst, been with the program since 13, was active in recruiting, he was actually the one coaching the LB’s... I mean I understand Aranda left and couldn’t take everyone but dang....

I liked him and thought he was a great recruiter but they need someone with more experience to lean on.

More experience doesn't make one better at doing something.

Haven't seen that name mentioned anywhere. They have some pretty good names lined up so far.

Yet trev is on that list apparently and has zero college coaching experience.

How many lbs coaches are interviewing and can you drop some names

I agree. Would be a solid hire.
He was well liked in the building. That's evident by how long they kept him around. I think LSU may want to go with more experience as first choice but he'd be a great second option.

Experience is a lot more valuable of a trait in a position coach when you have a very inexperienced coordinator.

The names mentioned so far i believe are Blake baker (possibly interviewed already), Travis Williams who i dont believe has set anything up as of last night. And Trev Faulk.

Sometimes that is exactly what more experience means!

I keep seeing this repeated and there is no way I believe he is a real candidate.

I'm not sure of the approachability/availability of the following, but IF available some LB names I'd like to see us vet are:
- Brian Niedermeyer; he just might want to get away from TN. I THINK he's still technically at TN, but his contract is up.
- Jon Sumrall; KY- can't really argue KY's LB performance for a while now.
- Matt Brock, MSU; Not really sold on his recruiting prowess and question just how good he is. But's that's the catch-22 about up & comers or diamonds in the rough. He gets high praise within coaching circles.
- Kent Baer, MONTANA; just might be the best FSC LB coach.
