Seems kind of early for Rex. Maybe they just got tired of dealing with him.

Good news for Rex. I see a large increase in pay, and a better city in his future.

UConn could use an offensive coach IMO.

I thought he had done a solid job at Buffalo.

Yeah not a terrible job. I mean it's buffalo. Was he supposed to turn it around in 2 years? Maybe they have their man.

can someone elaborate on why? He hasn't even been there 2 seasons and his record isn't that bad.

If I had to guess, they really like someone on staff now and didn't want to lose him. Maybe Anthony Lynn.

Yeah, you would think this has to be an attitude thing. I mean, frick it's Buffalo and it's only been 2 years. He did go 8-8 last year and is 7-8 this year with a ton of injuries.

Rex will probably land a better gig though, so it may work out for him.

Now Rob, on the other hand.....

So are people finally figuring out they are just big mouths and not really good coaches?

Rex is a solid coach. Rob is an atrocious coach.

Bunch of talk with no semblance of results. He should call Jeff Fisher if somehow he gets another job and ask him about his secret.

He's had one good year in his coaching career. I don't get the fascination with him.

Huge discord with the front office. Defense has taken a dip and his coaching decisions get worse every season. Was told before the season that he needed to get to the playoffs or he was done

Also they owe him a big buyout is he is still employed for week 17 apparently
