FSU has been the better program over the last 30 years, but sucked before Bowden.
FSU football wasn't even 30 years old when Bowden was hired.

It would destroy FSU if he stayed, but he can if he wants. That's why he's being allowed to teabag us

We don’t want Jimbo. Texas A&M can, and will do much better. Poor FSU, they are stuck in it now. They’re impotent as a program from now until they pony up that 40 mill buyout.

FSU facilities are tier two at the best, not even close to the best out there. Their commitment to winning from boosters - substandard. Shall I go on? A&M will give Fisher everything he wants. We already built the facilities, and continue to do so. Money, more than FSU could dream to come up with. SEC prestige. A huge pool of additional cash for the best assistants, etc, etc ...
I could go on, but I know entitled FSU fans are too dim to understand.
I hope eventually they realize how far behind they have fallen in the arms race. Congrats that you may eventually get a football facility. By the time it eventually gets built, both Florida and Miami will already have shiny new facilities of their own.

you forget that LSU literally has the worst insider sources imaginable. from Jimbo to Orgeron to the 5/5 shite, the sources have become really unreliable from the LSU standpoint.
Exactly. We have people like DALSU as our "sources"
Only person who had a clue last year was tigerbait lawyer, and that info wasn't dropped until the day before the O hire. He's the only person on here I would consider reliable when he drops information.

He meant every fricking word he said about FSU being unwilling to do what was necessary to keep up with Clemson and decided he wanted to go somewhere with the resources and will to do what is necessary.
He may believe that, but it's bullshite

Does it worry you that Jimbo has a loyalty problem when it comes to his assistants? He tends to keep his buddies around even if the on field play declines. I am not saying Jimbo is a bad coach at all, but his loyalty seems to get in the way of getting the best assistants some times.

If all things are equal, and he still wants to leave?

I wanna say I have nothing against A&M and it's fans. I think the traditions are cool.
With all that cash how come A&M hasn't won a goddamn thing in almost 80 years??? How has FSU accomplished more nationally in the last 30 years than A&M ever has?

I can see Candy moving to Houston, JF keeps his joint custody and takes over TAMU
If he spurns TAMU this will be devastating for the Ags. I think JF needs to move on, he has grown Stale at FSU

We have only fairly recently developed into the school we are today. We were an all male military school. That changed in the 70s, but the real growth didn’t begin until the 80s. Into the 90s, we were still far behind our regional competition, like Texas and LSU. The move to the SEC has been great for us in terms of financials for the AD, and an explosion in the alumni base.

No devestatiom here, we will just move on to our next tier of candidates. Chad Morris is our floor, and he’s a much better coach than Sumlin.

The move to the SEC has freed them from the sips and they are riding the Texas economic boom
TAMU of today is a sleeping giant in the SEC

The arms race? We've had 4 straight top 5 recruiting classes with a potential 4 first round draft picks and went 5-6, you really think that was because of a "facility"?

Ignore him, he's on a roll tonight.

FL working on 60M facility, Miami putting up 55M, and Clemson has already built theirs.
FSU needs to put this as a priority no matter who the coach is. Taggart is a great recruiter, but he is going to insist as well

We've already pledged $60 million for a stand alone facility but please keep going, I'm enjoying the education
