I do believe the talk that Jimbo was using this for more power. He also wanted the head of Seminole Boosters fired. He went about it badly and overplayed his hand. He had no choice but to leave

Literally all of that was said last year when he was supposed to come to LSU. I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you. He's well known for trying to leverage things out of FSU by threatening to leave and they seem to give him a little more or what he wants each time. My bet is that Jimbo doesn't go anywhere and knocks out a few more requests and gets a little more money out of this one.

A&M has a stronger alumni base, better facilities, a stronger financial footing, and better TV exposure. Recruiting is a wash. FSU has been the better program over the last 30 years, but sucked before Bowden.

unlike last year, FSU sources actually believe that he's going to leave. they were adamant that he wouldn't in both 2015/2016 LSU courtships and they were spot on. now the tone has changed.

Interesting theory. Here’s an alternate theory:
He meant every fricking word he said about FSU being unwilling to do what was necessary to keep up with Clemson and decided he wanted to go somewhere with the resources and will to do what is necessary.

Their fans aren't going to put up with Fishers constant flirting and demanding more money much longer. It's been obvious a while he's scamming for top dollar and I don't think he's worth it
