yeah, but 99% of all other Head Coaches actually bring something to the table.

So, we'll have 3 co-oc's now. Sounds like a winner of a plan.

So we're right back to Miles and Cameron. Nothing has changed.

Smart guy.

Any OC worth anything is going to ask for the same thing after the Canada debacle.

you would be a fool not to accept the OC job at LSU. you assume that would ruing his career; bull shite. win games and you are looking at serious money and a HC offer or two.

This makes way too much sense to the foaming at the mouth hate monger punks to understand. They prefer to put down everything LSU and everything about our coaching staff, and are ruing this board. BTW, punks, why did Aranda stay? A&M would have paid him as much. Why did Tommie Robinson leave USC and come to coach for O. The money difference was not that much. Ya'll are underestimating O in every way.

You thought O was a better hire than Jimbo. Your opinion is invalid.

bullshite. In, fact total bullshite. W pay well and play in front of 100k fans, and could be a stepping stone for a lot of OC's.

What all of you are missing is that it is the prerogative of the HC in all CFB and Pro FB programs to craft and offensive and defensive philosophy that they believe it. This is "see spot run" simple. Seems like O and Ensminger want to run a pro-style offense and jell together. They both know if they don't win a lot, they are out. If O brings in Gilbert, and does not win, makes no difference, he is just as out.

He probably shouldn’t have forced his first offensive coordinator at Ole Miss, Noel Mazzone, to run a scheme — the Southern California offense — that Mazzone wasn’t familiar with.

I actually looked to see if that was really in the article. It was.

Holy shite.

But Ed “learned from his mistakes at OM...”

Because he knows his job is on the line and he rather sink giving it HIS try than trust someone else. He feels he knows what we need and how good offenses from USC did it and he can repeat it and at least try and control his fate other than someone else like a Canada type who will get him fired with a bad season and while they will move on as a OC he will be back to that old darn DL position never to be on top again... that and some people can't handle the power that comes with being on top

There are 120 other schools out there, and about 30 of them can pay the same OC salary as LSU. And those 30 do not have an idiot for a HC.

You think guys like Gilbert dont know exactly what went down with the Canada situation? If i were him i would hang out until next year and go get the same salary in a better situation.
