I would imagine Sexton has already put a call in for Tubberville.

He was an assistant under Jimmy Johnson when he was there.

Mark Richt is being mentioned as a possible candidate but I don't think he's interested.

whipple was a hot name for a while there, but he really hasn't developed Jacory all that well either.

Their numbers aren't that bad, but Harris is a turnover machine. They also had to go with a true freshman for several games with Harris out.

Cane guys say Gruden is the guy they want and are after and that he's interested to a point.Don't know if they have the money.Tuberville is next on the list most likely. The guy is a folk hero down there and has great ties to SO. Fla recruiting.Would almost be a lock to get Eddie Gran from FSU and would but an extreme stronghold on So. Fla recruiting.

I'm surprised Tubs would be high on the list.

Gruden could go to Miami, but LSU is his first choice. If LSU decides to stick with Les, than Gruden probably picks between Dallas and TheU

Gruden isn't coaching at LSU. There isn't enough trim here to satisfy that cat.

Tubs is very highly thought of in Miami circles. That can not be underestimated.Problem at Miami is that the president(Shalala) is not going to hire a coach with any kind of questions about a shady past. She is very much a clean program lady.

Tubbs runs a clean program, he kept the Lowder/Dye group at bay for nearly a decade at Auburn. That's quite a feat.

Rumor from another board: George Diaz of the Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Gruden is going to sign a $3M/yr deal with Miami
