But, doesn't gaining only 268 yards against Tulane frighten you? If he was a defensive minded coach, I could probably live with it, but as a offensive guru, that is concerning

Did Florida State only getting 217 against BC last year scare you? Jimbo is an offensive coach, I would expect that from a defensive coach.

I can do it for coach O and several of his team's, I can do it for any coach. However, that is only a problem for you because you don't want Herman. So that will be your talking point.

No, couple other points I have are that I don't think he has had enough experience running a big time program. He has been a head coach for less than two full seasons. I see him using the LSU position as a stepping stone.

Good because his next step is the NFL and if he is that good then LSU will be great.
Get O and watch him lead LSU to 8 wins, great as a replacement bad as a HC.
Or Jimbo where you will be guaranteed 10 wins a year and a decent bowl game but may not be elite.

Funny how now that he appears to be Texas-bound, suddenly the LSU contingent want to act like he's no good. A month ago people were willing to sell their kidneys to get him to come to LSU.

Not really. If you haven't watched Tulane this season, they have a pretty solid defense (ranked 23rd in total defense) that usually hangs tough until late in the game after their offense continually lets them down.
I didn't see any of the UH-Tulane game so I can't say on the circumstances there, however.

They basically had to play the second half without a QB, and since they were up 28-10 they were trying to get the game over with asap.
ETA: Louisville should destroy them.
