I wouldn't want Joe Brady as my HC. He left LSU because he wants to play call and not have to recruit players.

Well yeah you give Urban a call for the hell of it. But he will decline. He has no reason to come here and he’s not in it for the gobs of cash.

Everyone knows they’re long shots but it doesn’t hurt give them your best offer. I think Urban coming here a likelier than people think. Still unlikely but it’s not impossible.

Agreed. No need to waste time with unrealistic names... and that includes Jim Leonhard for DC. He is not leaving Wisconsin for another DC job

That may well be the case, probably is actually. And it would the most jarring CFB hire in years. But it’s 2020 and weird, unexpected things have become the norm.
It would be a disservice to the program to not at least make Meyer say no ... then up the offer and make him say no again before moving on. It hurts nothing to ask just to be 100% certain.
