Over. Easily. More for our good ole boy network in charge as opposed to us doing anything great or having any real success. Mediocre will suffice for 2 years at least to prevent anothe big buyout. The wheels would have to completely come off and Aranda and the defense will be too good for that IMO.

Hopefully under

But LSU is run by a bunch of idiots with no leadership ability so I will take the over.

I will say "over". This is Alleva and LSU's BOSs. We already know they (1) hired O; (2) told us we'd have elite coordinators; and (3) allowed O to reneg, simply promoting Ensminger.

They remind me of the '90s administration which let Hallman go on a few years longer than they should have. They will ride this as long as they can to serve their own interests which will be longer than what an impartial observer might think.

Honestly, this looks like the administration making a decision to ride with O until the end of his contract (or until the buyout goes down substantially) and handing this off to Aranda. If O doesn't want to go, he'll dig in and make it as difficult as possible.

There's too much self interest and fear on both sides. That's going to lead to a lot of inertia going forward.

Under! After a 5-7 season next year Alleva fires O and promotes Aranda in an attempt to save his job.

Over. Joe Alleva will not fire O. Alleva will have to be fired for O to be fired

I want the under, but not as bad as I want the under on 1.5 years left of Alleva.

over. unless there is a meltdown season next year (6+ losses) i do not see them being justified firing coach. i do not think next year will be that bad. not fantastic either, but not terrible. im thinking 8 wins next year. maybe 9 if things go good.

Won’t happen. Alleva will not hire the next football coach at LSU and he knows it.

As much as people want this to be true, realistically, what gives you the slightest indication he will lose his job over this?

If Baseball, BBall, Gymnastics, etc. Are all going well and we just need a new football HC what makes you think the BOS and Pres fire him? Hell, they gave him 3 tries for bball. I bet he gets two for football. Like it or not, i bet he survives this whole mess HE created.
