Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reported Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is a name that "intrigues the power brokers inside the franchise."

However, Robinson noted Carroll recently signed an extension through 2019, "making it even more unlikely" the coach would leave for his division rival.

Albert Breer of The MMQB described Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh as a perfect fit for the Rams on Monday, adding that he expected the team to make a phone call. However, he noted that "there's no indication Harbaugh is ready to leave his alma mater to return to the NFL."

Bleacher Report's Mike Freeman noted Tuesday a source close to Harbaugh texted him, saying, "Jim isn't leaving Michigan. He may never leave Michigan."

Other than when he is losing last minute games to MSU and OSU, the guy seems like he really likes it there.

Carroll would be a perfect fit for an LA team, but they're not going to get him out of Seattle. He can win another SB or two there, instead of rebuilding.

LA needs a big personality as their HC, and they need someone who can keep the focus on the sport.

I can't think of a current coach who fits the bill, and besides pipe dreams like Gruden, I think LA will struggle to find someone who can thrive in that environment.

There you have it. Albert Breer, the source that the tards on this forum were using to backup their claim that harbaugh was LA-bound, literally said he has absolutely no "source", and that his article was just a recommendation for the rams.

Guys, Albert Breer is an OSU football guy. He absolutely flung poo at the wall because a BUNCH of top recruits are going to announce in the next week or so, including Isaih Wilson and Peoples-Jones. That is what this crap is all about.

I will be RA'ing anyone who lies about what albert breer's article said.

Harbaugh knows that Rams job will most likely be open in a few years. Win a title for michigan then jumping back to the pros is much more likely.

You have no fing idea why he said what he said. To think this guys was like "Michigan is set up for a big recruiting week let me screw with that" is absurd. Just listen to yourself

McDaniels was the rams OC a few years back. There's some familiarity there

Rumors don't make any sense. Why would Carroll leave the Seahawks for the Rams?

Rams can want Vince Lombardi's corpse for HC, doesn't make it news.

You have about as much as a chance of getting either of those things as the Rams do of landing Pete Carroll or Jim Harbaugh.
I can see Harbaugh leaving after Michigan wins an national championship, or if sees that there's just no way they'll ever be able to win a championship. But they were REAL close to making the playoffs after his second season. Why leave that to take over a bad NFL team (albeit one with some decent players)?

People will make fun of the hire but Josh is a completely different guy than the Denver days IMO. He was given way too much way too early.
