Per ESPN talk radio, just seconds ago, Napier close to accepting UF job

Talked about how Napier was Florida's number one choice the whole time and he appreciated that and how LSU slow played him, was obviously not even in their top 4 and something about boosters not letting him take full control of the tigers. They said look for him to officially accept the Florida job right after the Dec 4th Conf. Championship.

Which absolutely means that lsu has some other coach lined up for months. We wouldn’t be letting this happen without that being the case. SW is not sitting at his desk this morning thinking “oh my I can’t believe I waited out LR so long and now I have to settle for option 2, 3, 4 or 5”.

Whether its Napier or not, someone needs to tell the boosters, the AD, and everyone else to stay the heck out of the way. Hire someone and let that man coach his team.

Spurrier and Meyer? Recently it's been bad, but Napier is going to be really good at Florida. He just won his 11th game at UL for heavens sake. Who cares if its in the fun belt, the guy is a winner
Edit - This hasn't been discussed on this board much but Napier has never lost a Sun Belt Western division game. IN 4 Years. Think about that, never lost a conference game in your division.
