I think I'm a little happier with Freeze than I would have been with Sumlin. Maybe I'm just being biased.

So 1 game away from a BCS bowl coach is better than a high school coach a year ago? Nah, you're not biased.

Sumlin might turn out to be the best of them all. we just don't know. i think the aggies would have preferred a bigger name during this tenuous and seemingly critical time but if sumlin can recruit and hire good coaches he could turn out to be just what the aggies need. a&m is a potential sleeping giant. in the past when they've had real good teams it has always turned into shite when they got caught cheating but for some reason i think they are past that and their move to the sec just might be the move that enables them to go toe to toe with the arrogant people in austin.

They still haven't screwed up the search worse than ASU.

I have no problem firing Sherman for Sumlin. He was not getting it done on game days and it had been an issue since day 1. He just flat out sucks at adjusting his game plan.

Its sad that the firing went down the way it did but there is nothing that can be done about that other than identifying the leak and cutting him/her completely out of the loop.

This guy gets it. For some reason I always picture you as the old man in long tube socks yelling at kids to get off his lawn from the porch.

There's nothing wrong with Sumlins ability it's just that he has provided us with little evidence that he can excel at the position given the circumstances (SEC, defense, etc). If he is hired (highly likely), I look forward to seeing what happens, be it good or bad.

Not saying it's not true but the A&M 24/7 guys usually don't know shite. They don't have connections like Sandhop of Websifer or Luicci of TexAgs

Im pretty stoked about Sumlin, i am very nervous our AD is taking too long and he's going to get tired of waiting around and be gone. Thos thing is taking way to long.
